प्रतिग्रहभेदः — The Distinction between Giving and Accepting
Vṛṣādarbhī–Saptarṣi Dialogue
पूर्णे वर्षमहस्रान्ते स कृत्वा दुष्करं तप: । कालधर्मपरीतात्मा निधनं समुपागत:
pūrṇe varṣasahasrānte sa kṛtvā duṣkaraṃ tapaḥ | kāladharmaparītātmā nidhanaṃ samupāgataḥ ||
ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਜਦੋਂ ਪੂਰੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਬੀਤ ਗਏ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦੁਰਲੱਭ ਤਪ ਕੀਤਾ; ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲ-ਧਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਘਿਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਨ ਨਾਲ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਮ੍ਰਿਤ੍ਯੁ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਇਆ।
