अपन का छा | अप्-#-रू- षडशीतितमो< ध्याय: कार्तिकेयकी उत्पत्ति
Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: uktāḥ pitāmahenaiha suvarṇasya vidhānataḥ | vistareṇa pradānasya ye guṇāḥ śruti-lakṣaṇāḥ ||
ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਿਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਪਿਤਾਮਹ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਵਿਧੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸੁਵਰਨ-ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਵੇਦੋਕਤ ਗੁਣ ਅਤੇ ਫਲ ਵਿਸਤਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਦੱਸੇ ਹਨ; ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੰਨ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਵਰਣਨ ਕਰੋ।
