ततः प्रोवाच ब्रह्मा तं शक्रं बलनिषूदनम्‌ । अवज्ञातास्त्वया नित्यं गावो बलनिषूदन

Transliteration

tataḥ provāca brahmā taṃ śakraṃ balanīṣūdanam | avajñātās tvayā nityaṃ gāvo balanīṣūdana ||

Translation

ਤਦ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਬਲਨਿਸ਼ੂਦਨ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਰ (ਇੰਦਰ) ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ— “ਹੇ ਬਲਨਿਸ਼ੂਦਨ! ਤੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਗਾਂਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਹੇਲਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਯਥਾਰਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ। ਹੇ ਦੇਵਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ! ਸੁਣ—ਮੈਂ ਗਾਂਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਮਹਾਤਮ ਦਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।”
