Go-apahāra (Cattle Theft), Go-dāna (Cow-Gift), and Suvarṇa-dakṣiṇā (Gold Fee): Karmic Consequence and Purificatory Merit
खमावृत्योदपानस्य कृकलास: स्थितो महान् । तस्य नास्ति समुद्धर्तेत्येतत् कृष्णे न््यवेदयन्
kham āvṛtyodapānasya kṛkalāsaḥ sthito mahān | tasya nāsti samuddhartety etat kṛṣṇe nyavedayan |
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ—“ਭਗਵਨ! ਕੂਏਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਗਿਰਗਿੱਟ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕੂਏਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋਂ ਦਿੱਸਦੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਢੱਕ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ; ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਢਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ।”
