दैव–पुरुषकार-प्रश्नः
Daiva–Puruṣakāra Inquiry: Fate and Human Effort
पुरूरवाश्च राजर्षिद्विजैरभिहित: पुरा । ऐल इत्यभिविख्यात: स्वर्ग प्राप्तो महीपति:,इसी तरह पूर्वकालमें ऐल नामसे विख्यात राजर्षि पुरूरवा ब्राह्मणोंके आशीर्वाद देनेपर स्वर्गलोकको प्राप्त हुए थे
purūravāś ca rājarṣir dvijair abhihitaḥ purā | aila ity abhivikhyātaḥ svargaṃ prāpto mahīpatiḥ ||
ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਸਮੇਂ ‘ਐਲ’ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਰਾਜਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਪੁਰੂਰਵਾ, ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਪਾ ਕੇ, ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਪਤੀ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਸਵਰਗ ਲੋਕ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਇਆ।
