सुकुमारौ च तौ विद्धौ कराभ्यां मुनिसत्तम: । पस्पर्शामृतकल्पाभ्यां स्नेहाद्‌ भरतसत्तम

Transliteration

sukumārau ca tau viddhau karābhyāṃ munisattamaḥ | pasparśāmṛtakalpābhyāṃ snehād bharatasattama ||

Translation

ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ— ਮੁਨੀਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਕੋਮਲ ਜਣੇ ਜਖ਼ਮੀ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ, ਸਨੇਹ ਵਸ਼ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ-ਸਮ ਸ਼ਾਂਤਿਕਾਰਕ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਿੱਠ ਨੂੰ ਹੌਲੇ-ਹੌਲੇ ਸਹਲਾਇਆ, ਹੇ ਭਰਤ-ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ।
