Putra-Bheda: Kṣetraja, Kṛtaka, Apasada, and Saṃskāra Determinations (पुत्रभेद-निर्णयः)
उत्पादनमपत्यस्य जातस्य परिपालनम् | प्रीत्यर्थ लोकयात्राया: पश्यत स्त्रीनिबन्धनम्
utpādanam apatyasya jātasya paripālanam | prītyarthaṃ lokayātrāyāḥ paśyata strīnibandhanam ||
ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਲੋਕ-ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀਆਂ ਜੋ ਬੰਧਨ-ਰੂਪ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਵੇਖੋ: ਸੰਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਉਤਪੱਤੀ, ਜੰਮੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਕ ਲਗਾਤਾਰਤਾ ਲਈ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਸਥੀ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਵਾਹ।
