ततो विष्टभ्य विपुलो गुरुपत्न्या: कलेवरम् | उवास रक्षणे युक्तो न च सा तमबुद्ध्यत
tato viṣṭabhya vipulo gurupatnyāḥ kalevaram | uvāsa rakṣaṇe yukto na ca sā tam abuddhyata ||
ਤਦੋਂ ਵਿਪੁਲ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ-ਪਤਨੀ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਥਿਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਤਪਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਓਥੇ ਹੀ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ; ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ (ਰੱਖਿਅਕ ਵਜੋਂ) ਪਛਾਣਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ।
