अम्भोरुहश्चारुमत्स्य: शिरीषी चाथ गार्दभि: । ऊर्जयोनिरुदापेक्षी नारदी च महानृषि:
ambhoruhaś cārumatsyaḥ śirīṣī cātha gārdabhiḥ | ūrjayoni-rudāpekṣī nāradī ca mahānṛṣiḥ ||
ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—“ਅੰਭੋਰੁਹ, ਚਾਰੁਮਤ੍ਸ੍ਯ, ਸ਼ਿਰੀਸ਼ੀ, ਅਤੇ ਗਾਰਦਭੀ; ਤੇ ਊਰਜਯੋਨੀ, ਰੁਦਾਪੇਕ੍ਸ਼ੀ, ਨਾਰਦੀ—ਇਹ ਸਭ ਮਹਾ-ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਹਨ।”
