मही प्रचलिता चासीत् तस्य सत्येन कर्मणा । सारा शुभ्र आकाश सब ओससे मेघोंद्वारा आच्छादित हो गया। उनके सत्यकर्मके प्रभावसे पृथ्वी काँपने लगी
mahī pracalitā cāsīt tasya satyena karmaṇā |
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੱਚ-ਭਰੇ ਆਚਰਨ ਦੇ ਬਲ ਨਾਲ ਧਰਤੀ ਆਪ ਕੰਬ ਉਠੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਿਲਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਈ। ਇਹ ਕਥਾ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ—ਸਤ੍ਯ, ਜਦੋਂ ਅਡੋਲ ਕਰਮ ਬਣ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਕੇਵਲ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਗੁਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ; ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੀ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
