Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
ते संविभक्ता मुनिभिरननुनं देवैः सवासवै: । येडभिगच्छन्ति सततं गड्जां मतिमतां वर
te saṁvibhaktā munibhir anunūnaṁ devaiḥ savāsavaiḥ | ye ’bhigacchanti satataṁ gaṅgāṁ matimatāṁ vara ||
ਹੇ ਬੁੱਧਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ! ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਸਦਾ ਗੰਗਾ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਾਸਵ (ਇੰਦਰ) ਸਮੇਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਨੀ ਨਿਸਚਿਤ ਹੀ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
