काम्यया पृष्टवांस्त्वं मां ततो व्याह्मतमुत्तमम् । अनतिक्रमणीया सा कृत्स्नौलेकैस्त्रिभि: सदा
Bhīṣma uvāca: kāmyayā pṛṣṭavāṁs tvaṁ māṁ tato vyākhyātam uttamam | anatikramaṇīyā sā kṛtsnair lokais tribhiḥ sadā ||
ਜਾਣਨ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਪੁੱਛੀ ਸੀ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਮਝਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਸਦਾ ਅਲੰਘਣੀਯ ਹੈ।
