देवासुरगुरुर्देवो देवासुरनमस्कृत: । देवासुरमहामात्रो देवासुरगणाश्रय:

Transliteration

devāsuragurur devo devāsuranamaskṛtaḥ | devāsuramahāmātro devāsuragaṇāśrayaḥ ||

Translation

ਵਾਯੁ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਉਹ ਦੇਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੁਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ; ਉਹ ਪਰਮ ਦੇਵ-ਸਰੂਪ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਵ ਤੇ ਅਸੁਰ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਸਭ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤਿ-ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਵ-ਅਸੁਰ ਗਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ।
