लोकपालोडन््तर्तितात्मा प्रसादो हयगर्दभि: । पवित्र च महांश्नैव नियमो नियमाश्रित:
lokapālo ’ntarhitātmā prasādo hayagardabhiḥ | pavitraṃ ca mahāṃś caiva niyamo niyamāśritaḥ ||
ਵਾਯੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ— ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਰੱਖਿਅਕ ਹੈ, ਅਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਚਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਿਰਪਾ-ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਿਪੂਰਨ। ਉਹ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਖੱਚਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੱਤੇ ਰਥ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾ-ਪੂਜਨੀਯ ਹੈ; ਸ਼ੌਚ, ਸੰਤੋਖ ਆਦਿ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਲਣ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹੀ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਹੈ।
