मन्थानो बहुलो वायु: सकल: सर्वलोचन: । तलस्ताल: करस्थाली ऊर्ध्वसंहननो महान्‌

Transliteration

manthāno bahulo vāyuḥ sakalaḥ sarvalocanaḥ | talastālaḥ karasthālī ūrdhvasaṃhanano mahān ||

Translation

ਵਾਯੂਦੇਵ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਉਹ ਮਥਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਵਾਯੂ-ਸਰੂਪ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਮਥ ਦੇਣ ਸਮਰੱਥ; ਸਭ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰਨ, ਸਰਬਦਰਸ਼ੀ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਕਰਤਲ ਨਾਲ ਤਾਲ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਪਾਤਰ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ; ਉੱਚਾ, ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਘਣੇ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਵਾਲਾ; ਅਤੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਹੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ।
