तस्मात् पापं न गूहेत गूहमानं विवर्धयेत् । कृत्वा तत् साधुष्वाख्येयं ते तत् प्रशमयन्त्युत
tasmāt pāpaṃ na gūheta gūhamānaṃ vivardhayet | kṛtvā tat sādhūṣv ākhyeyaṃ te tat praśamayanty uta ||
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪਾਪ ਨੂੰ ਲੁਕਾਉਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ; ਲੁਕਿਆ ਪਾਪ ਵਧਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਕਦੇ ਪਾਪ ਹੋ ਹੀ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਾਧੂ-ਜਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ; ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਮਨ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
