असूयतश्च शक्रस्य वज्ेण प्रहरिष्यत: । स वज्ं स्तम्भयामास त॑ बाहुं परिघोपमम्
Transliteration
asūyataś ca śakrasya vajreṇa prahariṣyataḥ | sa vajraṃ stambhayāmāsa taṃ bāhuṃ parighopamam ||
Translation
ਸ਼ਕ੍ਰ (ਇੰਦਰ) ਈਰਖਾ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਕੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਵਜ੍ਰ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋਇਆ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਬਾਲਕ ਨੇ ਵਜ੍ਰ-ਧਾਰੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉਹੀ ਗਦਾ-ਸਮਾਨ ਮੋਟੀ ਤੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਬਾਂਹ ਨੂੰ ਜਕੜ ਕੇ ਅਚਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
