द्वारवत्यां समासीन पुरा मां कुरुनन्दन । प्रद्युम्न: परिपप्रच्छ ब्राह्म॒णैः परिकोपित:
Dvāravatyāṃ samāsīnaḥ purā māṃ Kurunandana | Pradyumnaḥ paripapraccha brāhmaṇaiḥ parikopitaḥ ||
ਵਾਯੁ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਹੇ ਕੁਰੂਨੰਦਨ! ਬਹੁਤ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਦ੍ਵਾਰਵਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਸੀ, ਤਦ ਕੁਝ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਕਸਾ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦ੍ਯੁਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ; ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਲੱਗਾ।
