Mahabharata — Anushasana Parva, Shloka 23
तदैव तु मया तस्य चित्तज्ञेन गृहे जनः । सर्वाण्यन्नानि पानानि भक्ष्याश्नोच्चावचास्तथा
tadaiva tu mayā tasya cittajñena gṛhe janaḥ | sarvāṇy annāni pānāni bhakṣyāśnoccāvacās tathā ||
ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸੀ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉੱਤਮ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਧਮ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਅੰਨ-ਪਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਨਾ ਭੱਖਯ-ਭੋਜਯ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਆਦਰ ਨਾਲ ਤਿਆਰ ਰੱਖਣ। ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਤਿਆਰ ਸੀ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਮੁਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਗਰਮ ਗਰਮ ਪਾਇਸ ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤਾ।
