ऋषिर्मेधातिथे: पुत्र: कण्वो बर्हिषदस्तथा । ब्रह्मतेजोमया: सर्वे कीर्तिता लोकभावना:

Transliteration

ṛṣir medhātitheḥ putraḥ kaṇvo barhiṣadas tathā | brahma-tejomayāḥ sarve kīrtitā loka-bhāvanāḥ ||

Translation

ਮੇਧਾਤਿਥੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕਣ੍ਵ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਰ੍ਹਿਸਦ ਵੀ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ)। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਤੇਜ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਿਪੂਰਨ, ਲੋਕ-ਹਿਤਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ-ਧਾਰਕ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੀਰਤਿਤ ਹਨ।
