Adhyāya 152 — Bhīṣma’s Authorization for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Return to the Capital (नगरप्रवेशानुज्ञा)
कल्योत्थानरतिर्नित्यं गहशुश्रूषणे रता । सुसम्मृष्टक्षया चैव गोशकृत्कृतलेपना
kalyotthānaratir nityaṁ gṛhaśuśrūṣaṇe ratā | susammṛṣṭakṣayā caiva gośakṛtkṛtalepanā ||
ਜੋ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਨਿੱਤ ਢੁੱਕਵੇਂ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਉੱਠਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਮਦੀ ਹੈ, ਘਰ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਗੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਝਾੜੂ-ਬੁਹਾਰ ਕੇ ਸਾਫ਼ ਰੱਖਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗੋਬਰ ਦੇ ਲੇਪ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ—ਉਹ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ-ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਟਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਸਤੀ-ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
