कल्मषापहर-कीर्तनम् / Kīrtana for the Removal of Impurity

गुरु चाभिगतं प्रेम्णा गुरुवन्न बुभूषते । अभिमानप्रवृत्तेन लोभेन समवस्थिता:

Transliteration

guruṁ cābhigataṁ premṇā guruvan na bubhūṣate | abhimāna-pravṛttena lobhena samavasthitāḥ |

Translation

ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਆਉਣ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ—ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ। ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਠੇ ਲੋਭ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਹ ਸਨਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ-ਬੁਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਦਾ ਤਿਰਸਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
