Discerning Dharma in Accord with Time
श्रुतवन्तो दयावन्त: शुचय: सत्यसंगरा: । स्वैरर्थ: परिसंतुष्टास्ते नरा: स्वर्गगामिन:,जो शास्त्रज्ञ, दयालु पवित्र, सत्यप्रतिज्ञ और अपने ही धनसे संतुष्ट होते हैं, वे स्वर्गलोकमें जाते हैं
śrutavanto dayāvantaḥ śucayaḥ satyasaṅgarāḥ | svairarthāḥ parisaṃtuṣṭās te narāḥ svargagāminaḥ ||
ਜੋ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ-ਸ਼੍ਰਵਣ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਵਾਨ, ਆਚਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ, ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ, ਸੱਚ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਗਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਡੋਲ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਨਿਆਂਯੋਗ ਸਾਧਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ—ਉਹ ਸਵਰਗ ਲੋਕ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
