Śiva-darśana through Tapas and Stuti (उपमन्यु–कृष्ण संवादः)
उमोवाच एवं भविष्यत्यमरप्रभाव नाहं मृषा जातु वदे कदाचित् | भार्यासहस्राणि च षोडशैव तासु प्रियत्वं च तथाक्षयं च
umovāca—evaṁ bhaviṣyaty amaraprabhāva nāhaṁ mṛṣā jātu vade kadācit | bhāryāsahasrāṇi ca ṣoḍaśaiva tāsu priyatvaṁ ca tathākṣayaṁ ca ||
ਉਮਾ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—“ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਵਰਗੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ! ਐਸਾ ਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਕਦੇ ਝੂਠ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੋਲਦੀ। ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਸੋਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ; ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਅਟੱਲ ਰਹੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧੀ ਵੀ ਅਖੁੱਟ ਰਹੇਗੀ।”
