Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
तद्धक्तस्तद्गतो नित्य॑ तन्निष्ठस्तत्परायण: । भज पुत्र महादेवं ततः प्राप्स्यसि चेप्सितम्
tadbhaktas tadgato nityaṁ tannisṭhas tatparāyaṇaḥ | bhaja putra mahādevaṁ tataḥ prāpsyasi cepsitam ||
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਭਗਤ ਬਣੋ, ਨਿੱਤ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਮਨ ਲਗਾਓ। ਉਸੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਠਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਡੋਲ ਰਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਮੰਨੋ। ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਮਹਾਦੇਵ ਦਾ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਭਜਨ ਕਰ; ਤਦ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਛਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
