येषामेतानि तिष्ठन्ति गृहेषु गृहमेधिनाम्‌ । तान्यधृष्याण्यगाराणि पिशिताशै: सुदारुणै:

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | yeṣām etāni tiṣṭhanti gṛheṣu gṛhamedhinām | tāny adhṛṣyāṇy agārāṇi piśitāśaiḥ sudāruṇaiḥ ||

Translation

ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ— ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਸਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਿਤ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਧੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਰੱਖੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਨਿਭਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਘਰ ਅਭੇਦ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ; ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਮਾਸਭੱਖੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਚਰ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ।
