Umā–Maheśvara Saṃvāda
भोजनं च यथाशतत्या ब्राह्मणे वेदपारगे । पशुबन्धशतस्येह फल प्राप्रोति पुष्कलम्
Dhaumya uvāca— bhojanaṁ ca yathāśaktyā brāhmaṇe vedapārage | paśubandhaśatasyeha phalaṁ prāpnoti puṣkalam ||
ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵੇਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਰੰਗਤ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਜਨ ਕਰਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੌ ਪਸ਼ੁਬੰਧ ਯੱਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮਤੁੱਲ ਪੂਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਚੁਰ ਫਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
