प्रज्ञासम्भावितो नूनमप्रजञ्जैरुपसंहित: । हीयमानो$सि दुर्वत्तैस्तेनासि हरिण: कृश:
Transliteration
prajñāsambhāvito nūnam aprajñajñair upasaṁhitaḥ | hīyamāno 'si durvṛttais tenāsi hariṇaḥ kṛśaḥ ||
Translation
ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਬੋਲਿਆ—“ਨਿਸ਼ਚੇ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਿਆ ਕਰਕੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਦਰ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹੈਂ, ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਬੇਸਮਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਘਿਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈਂ। ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਤੌਹੀਨ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਘਟਦਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ; ਉਸੇ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਹਰਣ ਵਾਂਗ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਤੇ ਫਿੱਕਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।”
