एतदिच्छामि तत्त्वेन कथ्यमानं त्वयानघ । निश्चयेन चिकीर्षामि धर्ममेतं सनातनम्‌

Transliteration

etad icchāmi tattvena kathyamānaṃ tvayānagha | niścayena cikīrṣāmi dharmam etaṃ sanātanam || niṣpāpa pitāmaha ||

Translation

ਹੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਪਾਪ ਪਿਤਾਮਹ! ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੱਤਵ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਮਝਾਓ। ਮੈਂ ਪੱਕੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਚੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਸਨਾਤਨ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਆਚਰਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
