सुधारसं चोपजीवन्नमृतोपममुत्तमम्‌ | वह दिव्य

Transliteration

sudhārasaṃ copajīvann amṛtopamam uttamam | sa divyaṃ uttamaṃ ca manoharaṃ vimānam āruhya virājate; śatasaṃkhyābhiḥ sundarībhiḥ paripūrṇe mahale sahasra-kalpān nivāsam karoti | tatra devatānāṃ bhojyam amṛta-sadṛśaṃ paramam sudhārasam pītvā sa jīvanaṃ nayati |

Translation

ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸਮਾਨ ਉੱਤਮ ਸੁਧਾ-ਰਸ ਨਾਲ ਜੀਵਨ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਉਹ ਦਿਵ੍ਯ, ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੋਹਰ ਵਿਮਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਹਾਜਮਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ; ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਸੁੰਦਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਮਹਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਲਪਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉੱਥੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਭੋਜਨ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੋਪਮ ਪਰਮ ਸੁਧਾ-ਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੀ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਿਤਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
