उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel
सांख्ये चैव परा प्रीतिस्तस्य चैवं व्यवर्धत । वे ऋषि वेद और अथर्ववेदके परिनिष्छित विद्वान् हो गये। कल्पप्रयोग और ज्योतिषयमें भी पारंगत हुए। सांख्यमें भी उनका परम अनुराग बढ़ने लगा
sāṅkhye caiva parā prītis tasya caivaṃ vyavardhata |
ਸਾਂਖ੍ਯ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪਰਮ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਧਦੀ ਗਈ। ਵੇਦ, ਵੇਦਾਂਗ ਅਤੇ ਅਥਰਵਵੇਦ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਣਯ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਦਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪਰਿਨਿਸ਼ਠਿਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ; ਕਲਪ-ਪ੍ਰਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਜੋਤਿਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਪਾਰੰਗਤ ਹੋਇਆ; ਅਤੇ ਸਾਂਖ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਰਮ ਅਨੁਰਾਗ ਹੋਰ ਹੋਰ ਵਧਣ ਲੱਗਾ।
