योगाचार्यो महाबुद्धिर्देत्यानाम भवद् गुरु: । सुराणां चापि मेधावी ब्रह्मबचारी यतव्रत:,महाबुद्धिमान् शुक्र ही योगके आचार्य और दैत्योंके गुरु हुए। वे ही योगबलसे मेधावी, ब्रह्मचारी एवं व्रतपरायण बृहस्पतिके रूपमें प्रकट हो देवताओंके भी गुरु होते हैं
vaiśampāyana uvāca | yogācāryo mahābuddhir daityānāṁ bhavad-guruḥ | surāṇāṁ cāpi medhāvī brahmacārī yatavrataḥ |
ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਮਹਾਬੁੱਧੀ ਯੋਗਾਚਾਰਯ ਸ਼ੁਕ੍ਰ ਦੈਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਣਿਆ। ਉਹੀ ਮੇਧਾਵੀ, ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਤ-ਨਿਸ਼ਠ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਆਚਾਰਯ ਬਣਿਆ।
