King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt
धर्मशीला जनपदा: सुसंतोषाश्न साधव: । न च मिथ्याप्रलापो>त्र स्वैरेष्वपि कुतोडन्यथा
dharmaśīlā janapadāḥ susantoṣāś ca sādhavaḥ | na ca mithyāpralāpo 'tra svair eṣv api kuto 'nyathā ||
ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਉਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਧਰਮਨਿਸ਼ਠ, ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੁਭਾਵ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਨ। ਉੱਥੇ ਝੂਠ ਜਾਂ ਫ਼ਜ਼ੂਲ ਬੋਲਚਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ; ਫਿਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਧਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਹਟਣਾ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਸੀ?
