Garuḍa–Śakra Saṃvāda and the Retrieval of Amṛta (गरुड–शक्र संवादः अमृत-अपहरण-प्रसङ्गः)
साध्यानां मरुतां चैव ये चान्ये देवतागणा: । स्वं स्वं प्रहरणं तेषां परस्परमुपाद्रवत्
sādhyānāṃ marutāṃ caiva ye cānye devatāgaṇāḥ | svaṃ svaṃ praharaṇaṃ teṣāṃ parasparam upādravat ||
ਸਾਧ੍ਯਾਂ, ਮਰੁਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੇਵ-ਗਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪਣੇ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ-ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਉਪਦ੍ਰਵ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ। ਇਹ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਅਪੂਰਵ ਅਪਸ਼ਕੁਨ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ; ਜਿਵੇਂ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਬਣੇ ਦਿਵ੍ਯ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਵੀ ਵਿਹਲ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਭਟਕ ਗਏ ਹੋਣ।
