कश्यप उवाच प्रजाहितार्थमारम्भो गरुडस्य तपोधना: । चिकीर्षति महत्कर्म तदनुज्ञातुमरहथ

Transliteration

Kaśyapa uvāca: prajāhitārtham ārambho Garuḍasya tapodhanāḥ | cikīrṣati mahat karma tad anu-jñātum arhatha ||

Translation

ਕਸ਼੍ਯਪ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—“ਹੇ ਤਪੱਸਿਆ-ਧਨ ਵਾਲਿਓ, ਗਰੁੜ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਉੱਦਮ ਪ੍ਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਹਿਤ ਲਈ ਆਰੰਭ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਾਨ ਕਰਤੱਬ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਗਿਆ ਦੇਣਾ ਉਚਿਤ ਹੈ।”
