Vāraṇāvata-prasaṃsā and the Pāṇḍavas’ Departure (वरणावत-प्रशंसा तथा पाण्डव-प्रयाणम्)
ते तं दृष्टवा महात्मानमुपगम्य कुमारका: । भग्नोत्साहक्रियात्मानो ब्राह्मुणं पर्यवारयन्
te taṃ dṛṣṭvā mahātmānam upagamya kumārakāḥ | bhagnotsāhakriyātmāno brāhmaṇaṃ paryavārayan ||
ਉਸ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਮੁੰਡੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਗਏ; ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਤੇ ਜਤਨ ਟੁੱਟ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਸਨ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੁਖੀ ਮਨ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਰੋਂ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਘੇਰ ਕੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੀ ਘੇਰੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਖੜੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
