Pāṇḍu’s Marriages, Conquests, and Triumphal Return (पाण्डोर्विवाह-विजय-प्रत्यागमनम्)
सत्यवादी शमपरस्तपस्वी दग्धकिल्बिष: । समुत्पन्न: स तु महान् सह पित्रा ततो गतः,“वे सत्यवादी, शान्त, तपस्वी और पापशान्य हैं। वे उत्पन्न होते ही बड़े होकर उस द्वीपसे अपने पिताके साथ चले गये थे
satyavādī śamaparaḥ tapasvī dagdhakilbiṣaḥ | samutpannaḥ sa tu mahān saha pitrā tato gataḥ ||
ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਉਹ ਸੱਚ ਬੋਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਤ ਤਪਸਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਪਾਪ ਸੜ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਸਨ। ਜਨਮ ਲੈਂਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਜਲਦੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੋ ਉਠਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ।
