स्वस्मिन्प्रेरयते यस्मात्तस्माद्व्यङ्कटनामकः / विषये प्रेषयेन्नित्यमतो व्यङ्कटनामकः
svasminprerayate yasmāttasmādvyaṅkaṭanāmakaḥ / viṣaye preṣayennityamato vyaṅkaṭanāmakaḥ
ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਮਾਰਗ ਵੱਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ‘ਵ੍ਯੰਕਟ’ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਨਿੱਤ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵੱਲ ਭੇਜਦਾ ਹੈ; ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਵੀ ਉਹ ‘ਵ੍ਯੰਕਟ’ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੈ।
