मित्रविन्दोवाच / यान्पूर्वसर्गेप्यवृणोन्निकामतो ह्यग्नीषोमान्नामिका मित्रविन्दा / मित्रं हरिं प्राप्तुकामा सदैक तत्रोपायं चिन्तयामासदेवी

ਮਿਤ੍ਰਵਿੰਦਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਪੂਰਵ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ‘ਮਿਤ੍ਰਵਿੰਦਾ’ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ, ਪੂਰੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਨਾਲ ਅਗਨੀਸ਼ੋਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਰਿਆ ਸੀ। ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਹਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਪ੍ਰਿਯ (ਮਿੱਤਰ) ਬਣਾਕੇ ਪਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਦੇਵੀ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਉਪਾਅ ਸੋਚਦੀ ਰਹੀ।
