भस्मस्नानं तर्पणं च ॐ हां स्वाहा सर्वमन्त्रकाः / सर्वे देवाः सर्वमुनिर्नमो ऽन्तो वौषडन्तकः

Transliteration

bhasmasnānaṃ tarpaṇaṃ ca oṃ hāṃ svāhā sarvamantrakāḥ / sarve devāḥ sarvamunirnamo 'nto vauṣaḍantakaḥ

Translation

ਭਸਮ-ਸਨਾਨ (ਵਿਭੂਤੀ ਲੇਪਨ) ਅਤੇ ਤਰਪਣ ਕਰੋ; ਅਤੇ ‘ਓਂ’, ‘ਹਾਂ’, ‘ਸ੍ਵਾਹਾ’—ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਾਰਵਭੌਮ ਅੰਤ-ਪਦ ਮੰਨੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ‘ਸਰਵੇ ਦੇਵਾਃ’, ‘ਸਰਵੇ ਮੁਨਯਃ’ ਅਤੇ ‘ਨਮਃ’, ‘ਵੌਸ਼ਟ’, ‘ਸ੍ਵਧਾ’ ਵੀ ਸਾਰਵਤ੍ਰਿਕ ਕਰਮ-ਵਾਕ ਹਨ।
