कपित्थं ग्राहि दोषघ्नं पक्वं गुरु विषापहम् / कफपित्तकरं बालमापूर्णं पित्तवर्धनम्

ਕਪਿਤ्थ (ਕੈਥ) ਗ੍ਰਾਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ; ਪੱਕਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਭਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼-ਨਿਵਾਰਕ ਹੈ। ਕੱਚਾ ਕਫ਼ ਤੇ ਪਿੱਤ ਵਧਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ; ਅਤੇ ‘ਆਪੂਰਣ’ ਪਿੱਤ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
