Dakṣa’s Daughters, Cosmic Lineages, and the Population of the Three Worlds
aryamṇo mātṛkā patnī tayoś carṣaṇayaḥ sutāḥ yatra vai mānuṣī jātir brahmaṇā copakalpitā
In this verse, Śukadeva explains that Brahmā arranged the manifestation of the human race through the progenitor line born from Aryamā and his wife Mātṛkā, known as the Carṣaṇayas.
They are a divine couple in the genealogical accounts of Skandha 6; their offspring, the Carṣaṇayas, are described as a lineage through which Brahmā established human population.
The verse encourages seeing human life as purposeful and divinely arranged—supporting a dharmic outlook where one lives responsibly, aware of a higher order behind creation.
