Vṛtrāsura Rebukes Indra; Heroic Combat and the Asura’s Pure Devotional Prayers
एवं सुरगणान् क्रुद्धो भीषयन् वपुषा रिपून् । व्यनदत् सुमहाप्राणो येन लोका विचेतस: ॥ ६ ॥
evaṁ sura-gaṇān kruddho bhīṣayan vapuṣā ripūn vyanadat sumahā-prāṇo yena lokā vicetasaḥ
ਸ਼ੁਕਦੇਵ ਗੋਸਵਾਮੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਵੀਰ ਵ੍ਰਿਤ੍ਰਾਸੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ, ਠੋਸ ਸਰੀਰ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਵਗਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਗੱਜਣਾ ਨਾਲ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵ ਬੇਹੋਸ਼ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
