अप्राणैति प्राणेन प्राणतीनां विराट् स्वराजमभ्येऽति पश्चात्। विश्वं मृशन्तीमभिरूपां विराजं पश्यन्ति त्वे न त्वे पश्यन्त्येनाम्

IAST Transliteration

aprāṇáiti prāṇéna prāṇatī́nāṃ virā́ṭ svārā́jam abhyèti paścā́t | víśvaṃ mṛśántīm abhirū́pāṃ virā́jaṃ páśyanti tvé ná tvé páśyanty enām

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Breathless she goeth, yet by breath (she ruleth) over the breathing: Virāj, self-sovereign, cometh on from behind. Her, fair-formed, touching all the All, they behold as Virāj; in thee they behold her not—in thee they behold her not.

Translation

ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਵਾਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ; ਵਿਰਾਟ, ਸ੍ਵਰਾਜ, ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਆ ਕੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹਣ ਵਾਲੀ, ਸੁੰਦਰ-ਰੂਪ ਵਿਰਾਟ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹਨ; ਪਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਦੇ—ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਦੇ।
