शत्रुनाशनम्। इन्द्रेण मन्युना वयमभि ष्याम पृतन्यतः । घ्नन्तो वृत्राण्यप्रति

IAST Transliteration

śatrunā́śanam | índreṇa manyúnā vayám abhí syāma pṛtanyatáḥ | ghnántaḥ vṛtrā́ṇy apratí

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

For the destruction of the foe: With Indra, with battle-wrath, may we press upon the battling enemy, smiting the Vr̥tra-like obstacles, irresistible.

ਸ਼ਤ੍ਰੁਨਾਸ਼ ਲਈ: ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਮਨ੍ਯੁ (ਯੁੱਧ-ਕ੍ਰੋਧ) ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਅਸੀਂ ਲੜਾਕੂ ਸ਼ਤ੍ਰੁ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰੀਏ; ਅਪ੍ਰਤੀ (ਅਪਰਾਜਿਤ) ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਵ੍ਰਿਤ੍ਰ-ਸਮਾਨ ਰੁਕਾਵਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਾਤ ਕਰੀਏ।
