Sukta 31
त्रिंशद् धामा वि राजति वाक् पतङ्गो अशिश्रियत्। प्रति वस्तोरहर्द्युभिः
triṃśád dhā́mā ví rājati vāḱ pataṅgó aśiśriyat | práti vástor áhar dyúbhiḥ
Thirty abodes shine forth in splendour: Speech hath found her stay in the flying Sun; answering to dawn and day, by the bright days.
ਤੀਹ ਧਾਮ ਚਮਕਦਾਰ ਠਾਠ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਦੇ ਹਨ; ਵਾਕ ਪਤੰਗ ਵਾਂਗ ਉੱਡਦੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਸਰਾ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ਼ਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ, ਚਮਕਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ (ਉਹ) ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
