राष्ट्रस्य राजा राजकृतश्च / आयमगन् पर्णमणिर्बली बलेन प्रमृणन्त्सपत्नान्। ओजो देवानां पय ओषधीनां वर्चसा मा जिन्वत्वप्रयावन्

IAST Transliteration

rāṣṭrásya rājā rāja-kṛ́taś ca | ā́ iyám agan párṇa-maṇír balī́ bálená pramṛṇán sápatnān | ójo devā́nāṃ páyo oṣadhī́nāṃ várcasā mā jinvatv áprayāvan ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

King of the realm, and king-maker too—hither hath come this Leaf-amulet, strong; with strength it crusheth down the rivals. With the vigor of the Gods, with the milk of the plants, with splendour, let it quicken me—unfailing, never departing.

Translation

ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਵੀ—ਇੱਥੇ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਪੱਤਾ-ਮਣੀ, ਬਲਵਾਨ; ਆਪਣੇ ਬਲ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਸਪਤਨਾਂ (ਮੁਕਾਬਲੀ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ) ਨੂੰ ਕੁਚਲ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਓਜ ਨਾਲ, ਔਸ਼ਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਧ (ਰਸ) ਨਾਲ, ਅਤੇ ਵਰਚਸ ਨਾਲ—ਅਪ੍ਰਯਾਵਨ (ਅਡੋਲ, ਨਾ ਵਿਛੋੜਨ ਵਾਲਾ) ਹੋ ਕੇ—ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਗਾਏ ਤੇ ਪੁਸ਼ਟ ਕਰੇ।
