ṛtū́n yaja ṛtupátīn ārtavā́n utá hāyanā́n | samā́ḥ saṃvatsarā́n mā́sān bhūtásya pátaye yaje

Worship the Seasons; worship the Lords of Seasons, the seasonal portions, and the yearly rounds. The years, the full cycles, the months—to the Lord of Being I offer worship.

ਰਿਤੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਯਜਨ ਕਰ; ਰਿਤੂਪਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਯਜਨ ਕਰ; ਰਿਤੂ ਦੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਯਨ (ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਚੱਕਰਾਂ) ਦਾ ਵੀ ਯਜਨ ਕਰ। ਸਮਾ (ਪੂਰੇ ਚੱਕਰ), ਸੰਵਤਸਰ, ਮਾਸ—ਭੂਤਸ੍ਯ ਪਤਿ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਯਜਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
