Sukta 27
देवानां निहितं निधिं यमिन्द्रोऽन्वविन्दत् पथिभिर्देवयानैः । आपो हिरण्यं जुगुपुस्त्रिवृद्भिस्तास्त्वा रक्षन्तु त्रिवृता त्रिवृद्भिः
devā́nāṃ ní-hitaṃ nidhíṃ yám índro ’nv ávindat pathíbhiḥ deva-yā́naiḥ | ā́po híraṇyaṃ jugupús trivṛ́dbhis tā́s tvā rakṣantu trivṛ́tā trivṛ́dbhiḥ |
The treasure of the Gods, laid up in hiding, which Indra tracked and found by paths that lead to heaven—Gold did the Waters guard with triple ward: may those same Waters guard thee, threefold, with threefold guards.
ਦੇਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਲੁਕਾ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਨਿਧਾਨ—ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਦੇਵਯਾਨ ਮਾਰਗਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ—ਉਸ ਸੋਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪಃ (ਜਲ-ਦੇਵੀਆਂ) ਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਵ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਖਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ। ਉਹੀ ਆਪಃ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤ੍ਰਿਵ੍ਰਿਤ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ, ਤ੍ਰਿਵ੍ਰਿਤ ਪਹਿਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਖਣ।
