Sukta 25
अश्वः। अश्रान्तस्य त्वा मनसा युनज्मि प्रथमस्य च । उत्कूलमुद्वहो भवोदुह्य प्रति धावतात्
áśvaḥ | aśrā́ntasya tvā mánasā yunájmi prathamásya ca | utkū́lam udvahó bhava udúhyaḥ práti dhāvatāt
The Horse: Thee, of the unwearied, with mind I yoke, for foremost place as well. Become an up-bearer over the bank; fit to be drawn up—run thou forth in answer.
ਅਸ਼ਵ (ਘੋੜਾ): ਅਸ਼੍ਰਾਂਤ (ਥੱਕਣ-ਰਹਿਤ) ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਮਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਦਾ/ਜੁਤਦਾ ਹਾਂ—ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਲਈ ਵੀ। ਤੂੰ ਕੰਢੇ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਲਿਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ (ਉਤਕੂਲਮੁਦ੍ਵਹ) ਬਣ; ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਖਿੱਚੇ ਜਾਣ ਯੋਗ ਹੋ ਕੇ—ਸੱਦੇ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੌੜ ਪੈ (ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਧਾਵਤਾਤ੍)।
